Tether’s Hadron partners with RedStone on tokenized-asset rails
Tether's Hadron unit partners with RedStone to enhance pricing, NAV data, and T+0 settlement for tokenized assets, expanding beyond stablecoins.
Tether’s Hadron unit announced a collaboration with RedStone on Nov. 5 to expand pricing, settlement and liquidity infrastructure for assets tokenized through Hadron by Tether, according to Tether’s announcement. The arrangement gives Hadron issuers access to RedStone’s price and NAV feeds, alongside RedStone Settle.
The strongest case from Tether is about market function. “Tokenized assets can only improve on traditional markets if they function the way on-chain markets do: accurately priced and liquid around the clock,” Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, said in the announcement. He added that the RedStone collaboration combines price and NAV data with settlement tools intended to reduce delays tied to traditional redemption processes.
That takes Hadron beyond its familiar stablecoin association. The platform supports tokens representing commodities, corporate equity, government debt, corporate bonds, fund structures, stablecoins and loyalty points. The practical change for those issuers is access to a defined pricing and settlement layer from the point at which their assets are brought on-chain.
RedStone Settle provides the liquidity component. Tether said the service enables T+0 liquidity for eligible tokenized assets through an auction-based mechanism involving verified liquidity providers. “T+0” sets the stated settlement target, but the announcement does not identify which assets qualify, how many providers are verified or what fees Hadron issuers will pay.
RedStone is a data infrastructure provider for on-chain finance. Its role here covers both valuation inputs and settlement access, while Hadron supplies the issuance platform. Marcin Kazmierczak, RedStone’s co-founder, said: “Our job is to make sure the teams tokenizing assets on Hadron have all they need to make these assets DeFi-ready from the very first second they are on-chain.”
The strategic reach is Tether’s. The company describes itself as the largest company in the digital asset industry, and Kazmierczak said, “Tether has the distribution to bring governments and institutions on-chain at a scale few others can.” The announcement does not name any government, institution or currently issued Hadron asset, so the collaboration establishes access to the rails without disclosing adoption figures.
For stablecoin traders, the immediate market reference remains USDT$0.9990▼0.03%, which CoinGecko currently prices at $0.9991, according to CoinGecko. The announcement concerns infrastructure for a wider set of tokenized assets; it does not announce a change to USDT’s mechanism, supply or settlement terms.
