Binance adds BNCB bStocks as margin collateral
Binance adds CEA Industries' BNCB bStocks as margin collateral on September 14, available to VIP 3 and above users in permitted jurisdictions.
Effective September 14 at 12:00 UTC, CEA Industries’ BNCB bStocks token becomes accepted collateral across Binance Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin, and Portfolio Margin Pro. Binance’s collateral announcement confirms the BNCB spot trading pair launches at that same moment.
Unlike a token available only for spot trading, a security-linked token sitting inside the margin stack means VIP 3 and above users in permitted jurisdictions can back positions with it — collateral eligibility and spot trading are distinct product placements, and BNCB qualifies for both.
The separate listing notice fills in the timeline: spot market at 12:00 UTC, withdrawals at 13:00. Zero maker fees on BNCB/UUSDT$0.9997▼0.01% run through September 30 at 23:59 UTC. Separately, users can trade bStocks against BBTC$78,196.00▲1.73%, USDT, and other tokens on Binance Convert at zero fees within one hour of the spot listing. Spot Algo Trading Bots and Rebalancing Bots will both support BNCB pairs.
Access is narrow by design. VIP 3 and above users in permitted jurisdictions only, restricted regions excluded.
Binance’s own legal language is careful about what bStocks are. They’re classified as “Certificates representing certain Financial Instruments” under paragraph 92, Schedule 1 to FSMR — not stocks, not shares. Offered through an Approved Prospectus in the ADGM only, on a secondary-market basis, to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions. The US carve-out is explicit: bStocks are “not offered, sold, distributed, made available, or accessible in the United States or to, or for the account or benefit of, U.S. persons.”
The product launched in June. Crypto Times reported that the initial batch covered Circle, Micron, NVIDIA, Sandisk, and Tesla, and that bStocks hit $100 million in assets under management within two weeks — figures from reported product metrics, not independently verified liquidity data for BNCB specifically.
Binance Research put the total listing count at 36, up from five at launch: (36 – 5) / 5 = 620% growth in roughly a month. The same report found that around 62% of July bStocks activity occurred while US markets were closed.
BNCB follows DJTB, a tokenized version of Trump Media & Technology Group stock that Binance listed August 26 into both spot trading and the same collateral products. Two listings, same structure, tight timeline.
For VIP 3 and above users in eligible jurisdictions, that’s a broader asset menu across spot, conversion, algorithmic, and collateral workflows — bundled with the concrete restrictions those instruments carry: eligible jurisdictions only, no U.S. persons, VIP 3 and above access, and no current BNCB borrowing. Collateral and trading eligibility: September 14, 12:00 UTC. Withdrawals follow at 13:00.
