Binance pairs PREDICT Seed Tag listing with six TradFi perpetuals
Binance is listing Predict (PREDICT) with a Seed Tag for high risk while simultaneously launching six TradFi perpetual contracts with up to 20x leverage.
Binance will list Predict (PREDICT) at 10:00 UTC on Friday, October 30, opening PREDICT/USDT, PREDICT/USDC and PREDICT/TRY spot markets, per the exchange’s listing announcement. The token gets Binance’s Seed Tag — the Binance Team’s designation for projects that “may exhibit higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens.”
Predict is described in that same announcement as a prediction market on BNB Chain, with smart contract address0x8888cef3923385c7f90ade66d09f41fb16668888. Binance says the listing fee is 0 BNB. Binance says deposits open at 11:00 UTC on October 30, one hour after spot trading starts. Binance says withdrawals don’t clear until 10:00 UTC on October 31.
Traders can buy before they can pull funds, and the Binance Team characterizes PREDICT as “a relatively new token that poses a higher than normal risk, and will likely be subject to high price volatility.” Withdrawals open 24 hours after spot trading begins, at 10:00 UTC on Oct. 31.
There’s also a recurring access requirement. Anyone trading Seed Tag tokens on Binance’s Spot and/or Margin platforms must pass the relevant quizzes every 90 days and accept the Terms of Use.
Running in parallel, Binance Futures staged the launch of six TradFi USDⓈ-margined perpetual contracts at five-minute intervals from 10:05 UTC to 10:30 UTC on October 29, according to the exchange’s Futures announcement. The contracts are EWZSUSDT, SMRUSDT, OXYUSDT, AMGNUSDT, PFEUSDT and MELIUSDT, mapping respectively to the iShares MSCI Brazil Small-Cap ETF, NuScale Power Corporation Class A Common Stock, Occidental Petroleum Corporation Common Stock, Amgen Inc. Common Stock, Pfizer, Inc. Common Stock, and MercadoLibre, Inc. Common Stock. All six are USDT-priced, cap leverage at 20x and trade around the clock.
Six contracts over 25 minutes on October 29; PREDICT spot arrives the following morning. The futures side gets a leverage ceiling and 24/7 access as its headline features. The spot side gets a risk label, a quiz gate, and withdrawals opening 24 hours after spot trading begins, at 10:00 UTC on Oct. 31.
The two announcements do not provide a prior comparable launch for either product line. What the announcements do show is a single exchange running high-risk crypto speculation and equity-linked derivatives access simultaneously — The desk’s read: the two products are packaged differently, with Binance foregrounding risk controls for PREDICT and leverage and access for the futures contracts.
