Binance to open PREDICTUSDT perpetual pre-market trading October 25
Binance Futures will launch PREDICTUSDT perpetual pre-market trading on October 25 at 08:15 UTC, offering up to 5x leverage for the Predict.fun token.
At 08:15 UTC on Sunday, October 25, Binance Futures will open pre-market trading for the PREDICTUSDT perpetual contract, according to Binance’s announcement. The underlying asset is Predict.fun’s PREDICT token, which Binance describes as the asset behind a prediction market on BNB Chain.
The contract settles in USDT, trades 24/7 per Binance, and offers up to 5x leverage during the pre-market phase. Binance is explicit that futures and spot token listings are not correlated, meaning a futures launch does not establish that a spot listing exists or is imminent.
Binance says pre-market perpetual futures will convert gradually into standard perpetual futures once a stable index price can be derived from spot market(s). Until that index exists, the desk’s assessment is that positions are exposed to a contract still operating under pre-market parameters rather than the final standard-perpetual setup.
The funding math
During pre-market trading, Binance caps the funding rate at +0.005% and settles every four hours. The desk’s hourly equivalent — derived by dividing the four-hour cap by four — works out to +0.00125%. That figure is a desk-derived hourly equivalent for reference; funding is not charged hourly.
Once pre-market trading ends, Binance says the funding rate can reach +2.00% or -2.00%. In the desk’s assessment, that post-transition range is materially wider than the pre-market cap, though Binance’s announcement says nothing about when the change will occur or what the first post-transition rate will be.
Binance sets the minimum trade amount at 1 PREDICT, with a minimum notional value of 5 USDT and a tick size of 0.0001. Multi-Assets Mode is supported. In the desk’s assessment, the low minimums do not remove the risks that come with a contract whose stable index price has not yet been established.
What the document says about PREDICT
Binance identifies total supply and maximum supply as 1,000,000,000 PREDICT. That figure comes from the contract notice itself; the document provides no circulating-supply breakdown or token-distribution schedule.
The available announcement also provides no prior comparable PREDICT event against which to measure demand expectations — the contract is new.
