Binance announced it will delist Pax Dollar (USDP) from spot trading on September 24, 2026, with a wind-down schedule spanning 76 days.

Binance sets September 24 delisting for Pax Dollar

Binance will delist Pax Dollar (USDP) from spot trading at 03:00 UTC on September 24, 2026, per the exchange’s September 10 announcement. The notice says Binance periodically reviews listed digital assets against its standards and industry requirements.

No single failure is identified. The stated review factors include a project team’s commitment, development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network safety, public communication, community engagement, transparency and responsiveness to due-diligence requests — along with regulatory requirements, token-supply or tokenomics changes, ownership and core-team changes, unethical or fraudulent conduct, negligence and community sentiment.

Binance provides no USDP volume threshold, liquidity figure or comparison with other stablecoins in the document. The practical consequence is clearer than the stated reason: every Binance product named in the notice will stop supporting USDP on a schedule.

The clock starts before the spot delisting

The earliest deadline is September 11. Binance Buy & Sell Crypto removes USDP and all associated pairs at 03:00 UTC, while margin borrowing for USDP cross-margin tokens and isolated-margin pairs stops at 06:00 UTC.

On September 16, Binance Pay and Binance Pool cease support for USDP at 03:00 UTC. Binance VIP Loan and Flexible Loan will close all outstanding USDP loan positions — both as loanable and collateral tokens — at 07:00 UTC. Margin then removes USDP from Cross, Isolated and Portfolio Margin at 10:00 UTC.

Borrowing shuts first, followed five days later by the removal of USDP from margin products and the closure of outstanding loan positions. The notice does not specify individual account treatment beyond those deadlines, so users with USDP-related borrowing or collateral should work from the times attached to their specific product.

Next come yield and automated-execution cutoffs. Binance Spot Copy Trading delists USDP spot pairs at 03:00 UTC on September 17. Simple Earn removes USDP after 07:00 UTC the same day. Convert Low-Value Assets follows at 02:00 UTC on September 23.

At 02:00 UTC on September 24, Binance Convert delists USDP and all associated pairs. One hour later, spot trading on all USDP pairs ends and USDP is removed from Gift Card. Counting Binance’s published deadlines, that leaves 13 days between the Buy & Sell Crypto cutoff at 03:00 UTC on September 11 and the main spot-market cutoff at 03:00 UTC on September 24.

Deposits stop being credited after 03:00 UTC on September 25. Withdrawals remain available until 03:00 UTC on November 24; counting Binance’s published deadlines, that is 61 days between those two account-access deadlines. After 03:00 UTC on November 25, Binance says delisted tokens may be converted into stablecoins on users’ behalf, though the notice says that conversion is not guaranteed.

Traders lose spot execution, margin borrowing, collateral use, Convert access and copy-trading routes. Projects with USDP-denominated pairs on the exchange lose that venue when spot trading ends, though the notice doesn’t identify which projects or pairs are affected.

A repeat of the exchange-level pattern

Binance isn’t the first exchange to pull USDP. On September 19, 2022, Wazirx announced it would no longer support deposits for USDC, TUSD and USDP, according to the contemporaneous account. Wazirx gave customers until September 23 to withdraw those assets, then delisted their spot-market pairs at 07:30 AM IST on September 26.

The Wazirx timeline was shorter: four days separated its September 19 announcement from the September 23 withdrawal deadline. Binance’s schedule runs much longer. Using the dates in Binance’s announcement, the schedule runs 75 days from the September 10 announcement to the November 24 withdrawal cutoff; the final possible conversion point on November 25 is 76 days out.

Wazirx also specified that remaining USDC, TUSD and USDP balances would convert to BUSD at a 1:1 ratio by October 5, 2022. Binance’s language is less definite: delisted tokens may be converted into stablecoins after November 25, but Binance neither guarantees conversion nor names an alternative stablecoin.

What the comparison does show is how exchange support can vanish in stages, with trading, deposits, withdrawals, lending and balance handling each governed by separate deadlines. It doesn’t establish that the two exchanges reached their decisions for the same reason.

For USDP holders on Binance, the binding information is the timetable: margin-related activity starts changing on September 11, spot trading ends September 24, deposits stop crediting on September 25, and withdrawals close on November 24.
