Binance removes 14 Alpha tokens, adds four to monitoring

Binance will remove 14 tokens from its Alpha featuring list as of September 4. The Binance announcement names them: MTP (Multiple Network), BDXN (Bondex Token), TALE (PrompTale AI), BOS (BitcoinOS), MAIGA (Maiga.ai), TIMI (MetaArena), SAROS (Saros), U (Union), SERAPH (SERAPH), RVV (REVIVE), AIAV (AI Avatar), PENGUIN (Nietzschean Penguin), ODOS (Odos), and SN3 (Nebula3).

For holders of those 14, Binance’s own language is clear that selling and withdrawals remain available after featuring ends — what changes is visibility on the Alpha surface, not exit access.

Unlike Alpha removal, the Monitoring Tag places tokens inside an active delisting-risk process. AVA (AVA), Gains Network (GNS), Scroll (SCR), and Towns Protocol (TOWNS) all picked up the tag on the same day.

Binance describes tagged tokens as exhibiting “notably higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens” and warns they are at risk of “no longer meeting Binance’s listing criteria and being delisted from the platform.” That is the exchange’s own language, not editorial color.

How the review process actually works is less precise. Binance says tagged tokens get assessed periodically, with each pass deciding whether the tag stays or gets lifted. The stated criteria run long: team commitment, development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network and smart-contract stability, public communication, responses to due-diligence requests, token-supply or tokenomics changes, possible unethical or fraudulent conduct, and contribution to a healthy crypto ecosystem.

The supplied documents do not establish a verified prior comparable review; no earlier announcement is reproduced in the materials available here, and the desk is not treating any prior baseline as confirmed.
